Women are funny to me. I sometimes wonder if they aren’t their own worst enemy.<\/p>\n

Yesterday I suggested, on a social media page, that the Flogging Molly Salty Dog Cruise<\/span><\/a> consider bringing along Garbage, a female fronted band.<\/p>\n

Women responded with one of two reactions. In agreement. Or as if there was only room for one female fronted band on the cruise.<\/p>\n

I don’t get that.<\/p>\n

Weeks ago when FM Cruise peeps asked for bands fans would love to see not one person had a problem rattling off multiple bands. Guy fronted bands.<\/p>\n

Bring up women fronted bands and it suddenly (seems to) becomes an either or choice. And mostly, that seems to be women reacting that way.<\/p>\n

Weird.<\/p>\n

I say bring as many rocker chick fronted bands as we can fit on the boat.<\/p>\n

Also, I had no idea who The Interrupters were before yesterday. Today, I am a fan. Bring them AND Garbage AND Liz AND… along on the cruise!<\/p>\n
