Hi, I'm Rudy Martinez

Part Creative, Part Contradiction. I live in the space between things. I write stories for children and shirts for protesters. I build sleek websites for clients and take grainy photos of Paris streets. I’m a freelancer with a penchant for black coffee, too many cigarettes, and "colorful" language—but beneath the salt and the smoke, I’m mostly just a good guy trying to make cool shit.

books.

From French themed coloring books from my personal photos, to children's books that teach the history and mythology of the Mexica.

From East LA to the City of Light.

I’m a Chicano from Los Angeles who traded the 405 for the Seine. I live here with my wife, Sam, and a ball of fluff named Dexter—who is currently under the impression that he runs this house. (Honestly? He’s probably right.)

I write things.

Most of it is nonsense, but occasionally someone tells me it matters. I wrote a children’s book once, and because I lack an "off" switch, I’m currently plotting to turn it into a full-blown series.

I’m the "Intolerant Lefty" your uncle warned you about.

To keep that reputation alive, I run a store filled with snarky protest gear and—because I contain multitudes—the occasional Parisian coloring book.

I make things work.

On the practical side, I’m your creative mercenary. Web design, virtual assistance, and digital strategy. If it involves words, ideas, or pixels, I’m probably dabbling in it.

If you’ve got a project, a question, or just want to chat, hit me up.
